Our family is all about Disney and has been for years. Let me tell you, they never disappoint. The magic that happens with everything they do is beyond comparison. The movies, parks, characters, cruises, performances, games, and music always make me act like a kid again. I love sharing these experiences with my own children every chance I get. Last night we had the amazing opportunity to attend the opening night of Disney on Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy, Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt.

We had great seats at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, but honestly every seat there has a great view. You even have the option to purchase rink-side seats or table service seats. Those seats give you up close and personal interactions with the characters. Table service seats allow for a more roomy space to spread out, and they serve you your food so that you don't even have to get up during the show (unless you have to use the bathroom that is).
The show packed in tons of your favorite characters. The first half included Lightning McQueen, Mater, the crew of Disney•Pixar's Cars, The Little Mermaid and her friends, Tinker Bell and the Disney Fairies! As with all of Disney's shows, Mickey & Minnie and their clubhouse friends were in attendance. Little Mac absolutely loves Minnie Mouse, so that was the best part for her.

After the intermission, the second half was all about the toys being back in town with Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang. By far, this was our favorite part of the show. The singing, ice dancing, and even flying feats were amazing! We were dancing and clapping in our seats along with the cast. The toys are accidentally sent to Sunnyside Daycare where they are mishandled by a group of rough toddlers and need to escape. Through teamwork, they find a way to make their escape a comical (and musical) adventure.

If you haven't bought your tickets, what are you waiting for? You have to see this show before it travels to the next city. You will be amazed at how much fun and excitement both you and your kids will have.
Tara's Top 5 Tips
1. Get there early so you have time to check out souvenirs and food. You can bring your own Disney garb from home to show your spirit. We dressed the kids in their old Peter Pan and TinkerBell Halloween costumes.
2. Pay close attention to the aisle labels so that you don't have to climb over a row of people to get to your seat. People who come in late or leave early will try to climb over you and block the aisles during the show, try not to be one of them.
3. Intermission is about 30 minutes. Take bathroom breaks and grab a snack.
4. If you are going to an evening show, pack pajamas because the show is about 2 hours long (including intermission).
5. Bring a jacket or a blanket. Remember, this is Disney on Ice, it can be a little chilly in there.
